Born in the U.K and raised in South Africa, Chef Isabella Staines graduated from the Private Hotel School in Stellenbosch in 2014 and has since worked around the globe for a wide variety of clients. Her work has taken her to Mexico, Egypt, Botswana, Switzerland, Spain and the UK to name but a few. Having started out in the field as a restaurant consultant focusing on staff training, menu creation and waste reduction in professional kitchens, she then moved into the Private Chef and catering sphere, starting her Cape Town based catering company in early 2019. It's Bella Catering offers anything from private dining experiences to large-scale catered events and longer term private chef services.
Isabella’s food reflects her values, focusing on fresh, vibrant produce from only the best suppliers who respect and value nature. She aims to celebrate sustainably and responsibly grown ingredients, providing a delicious base for a wide variety of dishes. Her food is soulful, flavourful and wholesome, deriving its inspiration from a number of cuisines but always advocating eating and living in a healthy and balanced direction. She loves to share in her passion for food and it's wonderful tendency to bring people together.
